Just received it, wiped it clean. Used the finest setting on my Timemore grinder. Succeeded on the first try, hit 9-10 bars. Rich crema, good wetting effect. There was a little spraying during extraction—expected with a bottomless portafilter and I didn't use a WDT tool. Will add more tools later. Overall, a success.

Follow-up after 56 days: An honest review after one month of serious use. I own semi-automatic machines and pneumatic ones. This manual lever machine is truly amazing! Completely overturned my understanding of espresso extraction. Direct pressure control allows for fully adjustable pre-infusion and profiling. Although it requires some strength (treat it like a gym session, though girls can handle it using body weight), the output quality is high.

Overall evaluation: Great texture. The force feedback feels more comfortable after the structural change. Temperature control: Tested with 20°C cold water, cold start takes 5 mins to reach 90°C. Once heated, takes 3 mins with cold water. Very suitable for making Americano or Dirty coffee.

Overall, the appearance is very industrial, full of texture. Following the reference grind settings, it took me 5 tries to succeed. Wasted 50g of powder and didn't stabilize at 9 bars, but I still got crema (happy about that since the beans were half a year old). Guess I need to keep practicing. My table is a mess.

The machine is heavy, materials are solid and durable. Customer service is super patient and great, plus they sent practical free gifts. With this, coffee freedom at home is easy. Struggled between the Ghost and Alpha models for a long time, finally compromised for the unibody bent stainless steel 😂. It has great texture. ✅ The heating function is really practical, no need to worry about temperature loss, and efficiency is higher (add room temp water, grind and prep while heating, extract when ready). ✅ The lever style is interesting. I'm a girl, so I use my body weight to press down to maintain 8-9 bars... guys will find it easier.

I used to stick to pour-over... Saw the Aleman machine at a coffee expo 2 years ago... I compared many brands and watched videos... Finally decided on Aleman. The texture is very high. I chose the heated version (Sniper + Z2 combo). Very satisfied. Received it today but some parts were missing, customer service immediately sent replacements via air mail. The machine is seriously heavy! A high-end toy for adults. Operation is simple and easy to get the hang of. I've always drunk pour-over coffee, but making a shot of espresso with this is surprisingly intense. Not bad at all!

It's very heavy. The all-metal build gives a different sense of security. The hollow metal logo design is particularly great. The coffee result is good too. If they paid a bit more attention to the finishing details, it would be perfect. Very rugged and industrial style!
